Abstract
A zero-voltage-switching (ZVS) DC/DC converter which operates on constant frequency and has wide linearity is proposed. The ZVS operations are achieved for the primary switches and for the secondary rectifier diodes to reduce the switch stresses and losses. The converter has low volt-ampere ratings for the devices and components, constant switching frequency operation, and almost linear and load-independent DC conversion-ratio characteristics. The voltage and current stresses are low and are always limited to the supply voltage and the output current, respectively
