Abstract :
The paper presents a detailed analysis of the scientific sources for the purpose of substantiating the urgency of the issue concerning modelling of resilient deformation influence on the cohesion of surface coatings. The review of the main latest theoretical and experimental works dealing with the available behavior models of the ¿coating - substrate¿ system provided that some mechanical tensions is present.
