Collaboration between South Korea and the state of Illinois

The paper gives an overview on the collaboration between South Korea and the Sate of Illinois regarding the adoption of innovative smart grid and green technologies that will generate economic opportunity, create jobs and produce environmental benefits for consumers, communities and shareholders in Illinois and elsewhere. The parties established Program Management Office led by Illinois Science & Technology Coalition and Korea Smart Grid Institute to draft scopes of work and execute collaborative projects. As part of the collaboration nine additional memorandums of understanding have been signed to advance business relationships and establish project criteria.
