Abstract :
The internet allows anonymous peers to transact between the peers who have no information about each other. This maybe dangerous for the trader if the other trader is malicious for some special purpose. Trust management is an effective way to reduce the deception, imitation, and so on. A new trust model is presented in this study for the purpose of overcoming the fault in some extant models. The new trust model is based on theory of evidence and can handle different trust evaluation scales, which has a higher performance than the trust models based on Bayesian probability. The proposed model can also effectively depict the trust evaluation course and merge the computational result based on different trust evaluation scales.
