Abstract :
This paper devises a novel collision based energy conversion method. Based on theoretical model, this method generates high coupling efficiency at low vibration frequency. This method is further simulated on an electrostatic energy harvester with interdigitated capacitive structure biased by electrets, and produces an output power of 0.58μW and available power density of 41.67μW/mm3 at 2Hz collision input.
