Abstract :
The spread-spectrum communication systems making use of the spreading sequences over the QAM constellation are with high transmission data rate. In order to satisfy the above mentioned systems´ requirement, the ZCZ sequences over 16-QAM constellation are discussed and three constructions for producing such sequences are presented from the known binary ZCZ sequences. Moreover, if the binary ZCZ sequences employed are optimal, the resultant constructions I and II are also optimal under their own conditions.
