Abstract :
This paper presents a method, which can automatically implement the Mallat´s filtering algorithm in WT (wavelet transform) coefficient´s maxima domain. It can automatically find the maxima which corresponding to the same edges through all the scales (which we called the same edge maxima (SE-maxima) in this paper), and can be applied in many field for signal´s automatic detection and de-noising. Also, it makes it possible for real time implementation for edge detecting based on WT coefficient maxima
