Abstract :
This paper proposed a time and frequency synchronization algorithm for LTE-TDD (Long Term Evolution-Time Division Duplex) system downlink, which can provide accurate symbol timing synchronization and frequency synchronization for UE (User Equipment). We introduce a simplified ML (Maximum Likelihood) algorithm and present a method using PSS (Primary Synchronization Signal) in wireless frame to get time and frequency synchronization respectively. Simulation results show that, under different channel environments, the synchronization algorithm can work better with a small and simple computational complexity.
