Green construction has been developed at an initial stage in China with serious problems, such as insufficient mobilization, management and supervision. The concept and connotation of green construction and its management was introduced in this study, where the current status and existing problems of green construction management in China was analyzed. It was proposed that scientific management and development of construction technology was the only approach to realize green construction. The strategies on green construction management were narrated in respects of establishing a sound “longitudinal and transversal” system of green construction management, executing dynamic management and formulating practical and feasible technical measures for green construction.
