Abstract :
The big deviation between boundary element method (BEM) results and theoretical values is recently discovered in a typical electrostatic field problem. The reason why the phenomenon occurs is first explained. Furthermore, the constrained BEM (CBEM) for an electrostatic field is presented. Numerical simulation shows that the novel CBEM can effectively reduce the deviation.
