Abstract :
In the hasty changing world and the expansion of the World Wide Web all the amenities are available just a few clicks away. But as all the amenities are going online and as more and more users are using these services, the load on the servers where these amenities are deployed becomes quite copious. Due to this load the response time of the web application is drastically increased. This is where jQuery framework comes to the rescue by reducing the network usage to approximately 50% of what was with the trivial web application development there by decreasing the response time of the web application. In this paper we are comparing a sample web application developed using jQuery to the same application developed without using jQuery.
