Abstract :
KORBX, a new product for solving large-scale linear programs, consists of parallel processing hardware and software that exploits its design and resources. KORBX contains four algorithms which are variations of the interior point method of N. Karmarkar (1984). The four, known as the primal, dual, primal-dual, and power series algorithms, were empirically evaluated on a set of linear programming application models being used by the staff of the US Military Airlift Command at Scott Air Force Base. The results are summarized
