Climate change and low-carbon development problems are one of the most important issues which have composite meanings and long-term influence in current international system. In face of the urgent energy and environmental problem, the low-carbon diplomacy on behalf of reducing the greenhouse gases international negotiation has gradually become the crucial part of the superpowers´ diplomatic relations. In carbon diplomatic field, China should retain their own principles to deal with international negotiations and policies and promote China´s low-carbon development. Based on China´s current low carbon economic policy, the thesis analyses and probes into China´s principle and position on low-carbon diplomacy
