Abstract :
The possible existence of oscillatory behavior in a simple closed loop linear interconnection of cells is studied. Analytical sufficient conditions for the existence of oscillations in a ring of any number of interconnected cells are established. Simulation experiments show very good agreement with analytical predictions. Oscillations have also been confirmed in cases of more complex interconnections of cells and in particular in the case of self-feedback existing in all cells
