Abstract :
This paper describes 12×12 capacitive matrix touch sensing unit. This unit includes a simple common processing unit and input switch array to detect the touch sensing input by Capacitive-time(C-T) conversion method. This touch sensing unit has 41 fF/count resolution with the built-in sensing oscillator. The power consumption of this unit is 60 uA and the occupation area is 0.26 mm2. This unit is implemented by 0.18 um 1.8 V/3.3 V CMOS process.
