Abstract :
A novel method based on particle filter has been proposed for Rayleigh channel state estimate and tracking in this paper. After receiving a symbol, the particles approximate the channel state at a higher temperature and a sequential resampling is taken to generate the initial particles for the lower temperature particle filter . With this simulated annealing scheme, the particle filter conquers degeneration problem and converges globally. The proposed algorithm has been implemented in a system on Rayleigh channel with BPSK modulation. Also the consistency and sensitivity of the algorithm has been tested and the simulation results show that the proposed algorithm is good enough to be applied to the wireless communication practice.
