Hailuogou region of Gongga Mountain is one of key development parts in the tourism industry in China Shangri-la Ecological Tourism Zone. There are world-class tourist resources, and currently, tourism in this area is developing very rapidly. But, due to the vulnerability of resources, the further development is limited. This paper has proposed measures for the protection of tourism resources in Hailuogou on the basic of analyzed the characteristics of tourism resources and the present tourism development, in accordance with the principles of sustainable development, focusing on the protection and exploitation of the resources.
