Abstract :
This paper presents the research and development of ultra-wideband (UWB) noncoherent transceivers in UWB consortium of USTC. A single band impulse radio transceiver and a multi-band impulse radio transceiver with discrete devices were implemented. Both of the transceivers use FPGA to perform baseband process. The high rate of 190 Mbps wireless transmission of real-time no compression video and HDTV were also verified by using USB2.0 over UWB.
