Abstract
The development of RF power measurement and control schemes is presented. Integrated circuit approaches based on logarithmic amplifiers and RMS detectors have evolved to cope with the complex signals present in today´s communication systems. These techniques provide excellent calibration over temperature and offer versatile operation and simple user interfaces.
