Abstract :
A new signal processing system of polarimetric Doppler weather radar is described in this paper. The new system is based on advanced Altera FPGA stratix 1S25 and Analog DSP TS101. The new system follows in the footsteps of the Chinese new generation radar (CINRAD) hardwired signal processor (HSP). The simulation results and test results are also described in the paper.
