Abstract
In this paper, a 1.8V 0.18-mum 1P6M CMOS low noise amplifier (LNA) for wireless LAN has been proposed, analyzed, simulated. The input matching network is designed through the technique of capacitive feedback matching network. The proposed LNA is operated at the frequency of 2.4 GHz. It has a gain S21 of 21.63 dB, a noise figure (NF) of 1.7dB . The input return losses is better than-13.4 dB. The output return losses is better than-18.3 dB. The inputl-dB compression point is - 19.0541dBm. This LNA drains 3.33 mA from the supply voltage of 1.8 V. the power dissipation is 6 mW.
