Abstract
We propose a novel receiver for multiple-input single-output visible light communication (VLC) system employing a lens with a spherical compound-eye structure. This specially-designed receiver can equally detect signals from wide angles due to the wide-sighted lens. A frequency domain synchronization algorithm is adopted for the OFDM VLC system in the experiments.
