Abstract :
The performance of a model-based control system depends strongly on the accuracy of the process model used. This paper proposes a hybrid wavelet fuzzy neural network for modeling and control purposes. The proposed network inherits the advantages of both fuzzy and wavelet neural networks and avoids their individual shortcomings. Learning of the proposed network consists of two phases, structure learning, and parameter learning. Based on the proposed network, model-based predictive control scheme is introduced for control purposes. The soundness and the efficiency of the proposed scheme are tested using the mean arterial blood pressure control system.
