Abstract
The focusing properties of an array in the form of semi-circle are investigated. Such array geometry is inherently focused at its center. When the focal point is required at any point other than the center, the focal region distribution deteriorates. It is suggested here that the array elements are oriented to be perpendicular to the line joining the focal point and the element position such that maximum radiation of each element is directed towards the focal point computer simulations for power distributions in two media are shown.
