Abstract :
This paper presents an implementation of a RFID reader at 13.56 MHz frequency, using MRFC52x series from NXP Semiconductors. A particular reader has been designed with MFRC523 integrated circuit, being compliant ISO/IEC 14443 type A, B and MIFARE standards. The PCB incorporates the reader antenna, designed to fit the size of the electronic module, in order to obtain a compact reader module. A software application has been developed to assure the proper operation of the reader.
