Abstract :
A novel umbrella-like structure is proposed with cap and additional plasmonic gold pillar blocking the nanohole arrays. We observed that the transmission efficiency is not reduced while the nanohole is blocked though the total light transmission area is reduced due to the additional gold pillar inside the hole. It can realize a giant transmission efficiency in the order of 87% that is much larger than the blocked one only by nanocap, which is due to the stronger coupling effect.
