Abstract :
A technological and application development is presented in the field of power integrated circuits (PIC) for DC/DC power conversion specially designed for <100 W output power telecommunication applications. It consists of a primary side PIC which integrates all the active electronics in such a side, and a low Ron power MOSFET transistor plus a controller-driver IC which manage all the electronics circuitry in the secondary side. Important thermal issues are also given for the proper use of these devices
