The buyer-supplier relationship within Toyota in China is currently under developed. This paper explores the conflicts of the buyer-supplier relationship within Toyota in China on the basis of a comparison between its traditional method of cultivating relationship and that in China. And then by the application of TRIZ (Theory of Inventive Problem Solving) which is well known for solving contradictions in technical and innovative areas, solutions to eliminating conflicts and adjusting the buyer-supplier relationship in China to smoothly integrate with Toyota´s GSCM are provided.
