Abstract :
In order to improve the target localization accuracy based on airborne electro-optical payload, a novel passive target localization scheme is proposed. Firstly, the cross localization algorithm according to collinear equation is derived. And then the improved algorithm by repeatedly measuring the same target is present, which can suppress the effect of measurement error. The experimental results show that target localization accuracy can up to 9.3m when the aircraft flying in 800m. This method can effectively improve the precision of target localization, and it has important practical value.
