Abstract :
This special section includes a selection of papers presented at the Seventh Brazilian Symposium on Bioinformatics (BSB 2012) held 15-17 August 2012 in Campo Grande (Mato Grosso do Sul), Brazil. BSB is an international symposium that covers all aspects of ioinformatics and computational biology. The symposium is organized by the special interest group in Computational Biology of the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC).
