Abstract :
A system is described which allows mixed analog and switch-level simulation of MOS networks. Individual simulators, designed for coupling in a mixed-mode system, are used for each level. A monitor program synchronizes the operation of the simulators and of the separate subprograms for primary input and output signals. A unified event format is used for communication of signals between the subprograms. This approach allows the possibility of adding other simulators to extend the system from mixed-mode to multilevel operation
