  • Abstract
    Electrical tree, one of the main cause of breakdown in insulating materials, was affected by temperature, applied voltage, frequency, etc. In this study, the toughness of epoxy resin system was improved as GN was introduced to DGEBA/MDA system and the phenomena and mechanism of electrical tree in DGEBA/MDA/GN system under various voltages and temperatures were investigated. As voltages were applied to epoxy resin system, the growth rate of electrical tree showed the sigmoid shape. The growth rate of electrical tree increased with the increment of applied voltages. As temperature increased, the growth rate of electrical tree increased and the phenomena of tree mere more complex
