With the widely application of modern communication and internet technology, informationalization persistently affects the whole situation of college´s ideological and political education. In order to meet the demands of the information age, it is very important to improve self information literacy for the counselor, the mainstay of ideological and political education of college students. This essay will detail the nurture of information literacy of colleges´ counselors on three sides that are the definition of information literacy, the meaning of improving information literacy, and how to improve the information literacy.
