Abstract :
In this paper we propose a method to reduce energy consumption in non-centre terminal. All the circuits but CPU in non-centre terminal can be switched off into a sleeping mode when the terminal is in standby state. We study the selection of sleeping time and working time in a mathematics way on the premise of not reducing the signaling transmission performance, i.e., more lost frames, longer frame waiting times. At last we discuss the performance of the terminal
