Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) -based channel estimation algorithm for maximum-likelihood sequence estimation (MLSE) compensation in optical fiber communication system, which is more effective than the conventional algorithm based on probability density function (PDF) algorithm and has well simulation results.
