Abstract
Some measures of human exposure to a transient electromagnetic fields are proposed in the paper. The transient response of the cylindrical human body model is obtained by solving the space-time Hallen integral equation via the Galerkin-Bubnov scheme of the indirect boundary element method. Knowing the transient current flowing through the human body it is possible to obtain measures of this transient response in terms of average power and total absorbed energy in the body.
