Abstract :
We propose a new algorithm to realize STBC (space-time block coding) decoding with multipath components in a CDMA receiver. We construct a symbol-by-symbol detector directly utilizing multipath components to achieve better performance. Our proposed algorithm equivalently extends the number of receive antennas. We deduce the BER expression of our proposed algorithm, and we perform numerical results of BER performance
