In the 21st century, knowledge economy oriented towards knowledge-based decision-making has risen along with global economic integration. Through the build of a sound environment, promotion of knowledge innovation, technological innovation and mechanism innovation, as well as the improvement of the social awareness of innovation and the national ability in innovation are the road for China to realize rapid development. However, independent innovation cannot exist without starting the business, and more importantly, the culturing of entrepreneurship. As a completely new educational concept, enterprise education plays an important role in realizing the goals of “rejuvenating China through science and education”, “building a innovative country”, and “building the harmonious socialist society” proposed by China, and is the necessary development trend of China´s higher education embracing the world and the future. This paper proposed the purpose and content of enterprise education at university based on the authors´ understanding of this concept, analyzed thoroughly the current educational modes and management modes of enterprise education at universities in China, pointed out the problems, and finally came up with the way to improve the enterprise education in Chinese universities and colleges with international experience in this aspect.
