Abstract
A micropower CMOS RC oscillator with a frequency of 32 kHz for low-voltage biomedical applications has been designed and tested. The supply voltage range and current consumption of the unit are 2.5-3.5 V and about 2 μA, respectively. It was found that the temperature drift of the bias current source partially compensates for that of the RC oscillator, giving a total drift of less than 1% in the range -20°C to +70°C
