Abstract
Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is characterized as self organizing and easy-to-deploy network with a wide range of applications in environment monitoring, battle field, medical, healthcare and so on. As we know that the sensor nodes are usually deployed in remote areas, so we can not only rely on cryptology arithmetic to ensure the security of WSN. No doubt the trust models are universally considered as the soft methods, but these models are not appropriate to the multi-hop and energy-constrained wireless sensor networks. This paper aimed at the traits of WSNs, and proposed a Trust Model based on Bayes Theorem (TMBBT) in WSN. Our TMBBT protocol distinguished the direct and indirect communication, communicational trust and data trust, as a result of this approach, it could solve the problem of multi-hop neighborhood trust. It utilize the bayes theorem to deal with relationship of the data and communicational trust, it also reduced the energy used for establishing, maintaining and updating trust.
