Abstract
This paper describes an innovative high frequency rectifier showing unique characteristics. The rectifier uses the patented double full-bridge topology. Each converter is based on a ZVS (zero voltage switching) full-bridge topology and the phase shift modulation. This quasi-resonant mode combines the advantages of the resonant topologies and the PWM converters. The circuit operates at 200 kHz and the efficiency exceeds 90 %. The product is very compact. The compliance with the safety standards and the EMI regulations are also demonstrated. Some applications are also described
