Abstract
With the great development of multimedia applications, providing QoS guarantee for Ad Hoc networks is very important. This paper researches on cross layer QoS model in mobile Ad Hoc network, and proposes a cross layer QoS design model for mobile Ad Hoc networks. Based on considering path end-to- end communication delay, path usable degree (PUD), hops and throughput ratio, the required bandwidth of routing as access control restriction, the model analyzes and makes decisions on the routes between the source and destination node. Simulations by ns-2 show that the model proposed are effective.
