Abstract :
A repeater is an electronic device that receives a signal and retransmits it at a higher level and/or higher power, so that the signal can reach longer distances. This paper designs models to determine the minimum number of repeaters, which can accommodate the given number of simultaneous users in circular flat area of 40 miles radius. There are two major constraints: The maximum number of users a repeater can serve is 55 and for each repeater, there is at least one repeater in its downlink emission range.
