Abstract
In this paper, we present a block selective repeat (BSR) ARQ scheme for high speed infrared communication operating with a fixed size receiver buffer without adapting parameters to the optimum values. The performance of the proposed ARQ scheme is examined for various link parameters. Simulation results show that it significantly outperforms the existing go-back-N ARQ scheme.
