Abstract
The evaluation of very high-speed digital subscriber lines (VDSL) performance is proposed by modifying an ADSL transceiver. By using a near end crosstalk generator and symmetrical echo cancelled-signal, a symmetrical VDSL experimental system in the bit rate range of 6 to 8 Mbps is set up.
