Abstract :
Visible light communication(VLC) technology is one of promising solutions for future Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). This paper proposes a VLC based collision avoidance mechanism for lane-changing scenarios. Two kinds of collision models are introduced along with the VLC based warning mechanism by theoretical analysis and numerical simulations.
