Abstract
In this paper, a new time-frequency transform (NTFT) to estimate multi-component linear frequency modulated (multi-LFM) signal parameters is proposed. The NTFT is a linear transform and has a more simple form while compared to the conventional fractional Fourier transform (FRFT). The discrete NTFT with fast Fourier transform (FFT) algorithm offers a computationally disadvantage for LFM signal detection and parameters estimation. By utilizing NTFT with CLEAN technique, all the Multi-LFM signals components can be estimated seriatimly. Finally, computer simulations are provided to illustrate the good performances of the proposed algorithm.
