Abstract :
The application of direct torque control of induction motor is presented in this paper, using diode clamped multilevel inverter. Multicarrier space-vector modulation is presented to control the output of five-level diode-clamped multilevel inverter for the drive. The control scheme has constant switching frequency, and provides improved torque ripple contents. The experimental results are presented to verify the performance of the scheme.
