Abstract :
This paper presents the performance of cell search for the 3GPP W-CDMA/FDD (wideband code division multiple access, frequency division duplex) system under the effects of non-ideal sampling and clock drift. Three new cell search algorithms are proposed and compared to the conventional one. Computer simulations show that the adverse effects of the nonideal sampling and clock drift can be removed largely by the proposed schemes
