Abstract :
This paper presents the architecture of an ATM data acquisition and control system, which interconnects several remote acquisition units through a central processing unit, over bi-directional RF or wired transmission links. In addition, central units and clusters of remote units can be interconnected, over an ATM network, ISDN or LAN.
